Project Developer – PV & BESS

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Project Developer to lead the development of photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) hybrid projects in Spain, guiding them from site origination through to Ready‑to‑Build status and supporting construction when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Technical and regulatory development and tracking of PV + BESS hybridisation projects.
• Liaise with local, regional and national authorities to monitor project status.
• Contact landowners, track payments and manage documentation for notarisation and Property Registry submission.
• Support due‑diligence, M&A and negotiations with clients and investors.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (technical, legal and financial).

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional experience in renewable‑energy project development.
• Demonstrable experience in BESS and PV + BESS hybrid projects.
• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Electrical or similar).
• High level of English for interaction with lenders and international counterparties.
• Solid knowledge of the Spanish renewable‑energy regulatory framework.
• Valid driver’s licence.
