Project Manager – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the execution of high‑value M&E projects for Vertiv in Barcelona. The role ensures full compliance with contract scope, technical requirements, timely delivery, quality standards and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control project schedules, costs and delivery activities.
• Coordinate site activities, local subcontractors and service teams to guarantee on‑time start‑ups.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, minutes, certificates and proof of delivery.
• Act as the main interface between the customer and Vertiv, handling reporting, invoicing and customer relations.
• Oversee purchasing activities with the Purchasing Manager to respect budgets and drive cost‑reduction actions.
• Forecast project revenue and margins accurately and raise invoice requests for timely billing.
• Identify potential issues early, communicate them to internal functions and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience managing high‑value M&E contracts and negotiating with sub‑contractors.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, contract law and business performance software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Customer‑centric attitude with strong influencing and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Liebert HPAC and UPS products.
• Project planning and cost control expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Oracle.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferable).
• Ability to understand and manage commercial contracts.
