Project Test Engineer

About the role

Airbus CRISA is looking for a Project Test Engineer to join its space‑systems teams in the Madrid area. You will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies that verify electronic units meet customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical discussions with customers during the negotiation phase and throughout the project.
• Assist the Project Manager with requirement assessment and risk identification.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager to define the flight‑unit architecture and ground‑equipment designs, applying a design‑for‑testing approach.
• Lead the definition of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) architecture.
• Support technical issue resolution in coordination with experts under quality and programmatic rules.
• Document and report design validation activities, including verification control documents, test procedures and reports.
• Supervise test engineers and technicians to ensure successful verification from qualification to acceptance campaigns.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in electronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in aerospace or space‑related projects, preferably with verification activities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with design‑for‑testing principles and project schedules.
• Fluent English communication skills.
