Propulsion Engine Integration Engineer

About the role

PLD Space is seeking a Propulsion Engine Integration Engineer to lead the definition and execution of integration processes for rocket propulsive components. You will work in a dynamic, high‑performance environment focused on reusable launchers and manned capsules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise assembly procedures for rocket engine systems, including manuals, work orders and inspection reports.
• Assemble rocket engines, combustion chambers, fluid systems and structural subsystems.
• Provide technical support and problem‑solving during assembly and test campaigns.
• Collaborate with Design, Analysis, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to improve design solutions and tooling.
• Support resolution of non‑conformances and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
• Implement quality‑assurance processes in line with specifications, norms and standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised integration environment.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
