Purchasing Manager – Secondary Raw Materials

About the role

We are a Spain‑based company seeking a responsible and motivated Purchasing Manager to lead the acquisition of secondary raw materials such as catalytic converters and electronic scrap. The role combines market analysis, supplier negotiation, and hands‑on handling of purchased materials.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and purchase secondary raw materials, focusing on catalytic converters and electronic scrap.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing partners while identifying new suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and provide actionable insights to the team.
• Enter purchase data promptly into the internal system and collaborate closely with colleagues.
• Visit client sites, conduct negotiations, and oversee the physical loading of materials.

Required profile

• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent Spanish language proficiency.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Experience in purchasing catalytic converters or electronic scrap is a major advantage, though newcomers will receive training.
