Quality Conformance Manager - HTPs

About the role

A Quality Conformance Manager position is open within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). You will join the HTPs Quality Team, a multidisciplinary group responsible for quality standards in manufacturing and industrial processes, quality issue resolution and continuous improvement. The role works closely with Manufacturing, Production, Engineering and Programmes teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by defining measurement standards and driving sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead Quality performance for HTPs, focusing on the target of reducing non-conformities by 50% by next year.
• Monitor process performance and product compliance, ensuring reliability and repeatability from design through the product lifecycle.
• Lead operational quality activities in the HTPs Control Plan Forum, taking part in governance routines and quality milestones.
• Manage the Non-Allocated Concession process and coordinate Production and Process Verification (PPV) activities.
• Promote continuous improvement, support the eradication of repetitive concessions across Single Aisle and Widebody programmes, lead the Quality AOS "My Poli-Poli" brick and share best practices across Airbus sites.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Previous experience in Quality, Production, Manufacturing Engineering or Programme Management in an industrial environment.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills; proactive, able to lead improvement initiatives in a multicultural, cross-functional setting.

Required skills

• Good understanding of quality management principles, manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Nice to have: Quality Conformance, Airbus Operating System (AOS), process verification, quality performance management or industrial transformation project experience.
