Quality Engineer – Automotive (German & English)

About the role

K-LAGAN is seeking a Quality Engineer to support a technical project in the automotive sector. The role focuses on ensuring product quality throughout development, validation, and industrialisation, working closely with engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in FMEA/DFMEA activities during product development.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, internal standards and relevant regulations.
• Support product homologation and maintain traceability of special characteristics across documentation.
• Define control plans, gauges and control systems.
• Coordinate prototype and sample deliveries according to customer specifications.
• Develop and manage DVP/PVT validation plans with testing teams.
• Analyse test results and define technical counter‑measures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing quality teams during industrialisation.
• Act as technical interface with OEM customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of experience in product quality, development quality or validation of mechanical components.
• Experience in the automotive sector or Tier 1 environment.
• Fluent in Spanish, English and German (spoken and written).
• Experience with rear‑view mirrors, vision systems, exterior or plastic components is a plus.
