About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a temporary Receptionist to support the front‑desk operations at its flagship property in Madrid. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth arrival, pleasant stay, and efficient departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Process check‑out and farewell activities.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties and handle luggage storage.
• Review reservations and conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service and quality assurance within the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM tools, and ISO standards is valued.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.

• Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
