Reception Assistant – Hotel Torre de Madrid

About the role

We are looking for a Reception Assistant to join the Front Office team at the Barceló Torre de Madrid hotel. You will support daily guest interactions, ensuring a professional and high‑quality experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with guest check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle in‑person, telephone, and email inquiries.
• Manage reservations and allocate rooms.
• Provide information on hotel services and local recommendations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments.
• Resolve basic incidents and guest issues.

Required profile

• Preferred: Higher‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar front‑office role.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Adaptable, customer‑oriented, and strong communicator.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and work in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (Office suite).
• Experience using a Property Management System, preferably Opera.
