Recreation Supervisor

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Abama Resort is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to lead its Ritz Kids program. You will be responsible for delivering safe, creative and high‑quality activities for children and families in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Recreation and Ritz Kids program, ensuring safety, engagement and enrichment for all participants.
• Supervise, schedule and coordinate the Recreation team during each shift, managing task assignments and break coverage.
• Coach, train and motivate team members to maintain a culture of collaboration and service excellence.
• Plan, organize and deliver a diverse calendar of recreational, educational and themed activities for different age groups.
• Manage child registration, check‑in/check‑out procedures, attendance records and childcare protocols.
• Build genuine relationships with children and families, handling special requests and behavioral concerns professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety and presentation of recreation facilities, equipment and materials.
• Assist in planning and delivering special events, holiday celebrations, children’s camps and family programs.
