Regional Sales Manager – Caribbean Markets

About the role

American Foods International is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for its Caribbean markets. The role will drive commercial expansion across island nations, managing retail, food‑service and sub‑distributor relationships while growing both branded CPG and private‑label portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑channel sales strategies for retail, food‑service and sub‑distributors across all Caribbean islands.
• Identify, onboard and manage new distributors, wholesalers and import partners in each country.
• Drive private‑label adoption by coordinating with buyers, category managers and the marketing team to secure listings and design trade promotions.
• Collaborate with the Miami headquarters on pricing, logistics, product availability and volume forecasting.
• Track market intelligence such as pricing, competitor SKUs, shelf space, velocity and margin.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with sub‑distributors, brokers and key accounts, and train local or third‑party sales teams.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of experience in CPG/FMCG sales, distribution or export management within the Caribbean region.
• Deep knowledge of retail, food‑service and sub‑distribution models.
• Established network of regional buyers, importers and distributors.
• Proven record of delivering double‑digit growth and managing multi‑market operations.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial, resource‑ful and comfortable closing large retail programs on‑site.
