Security Engineer

About the role

Auctane is looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen its global engineering and operations within the Information Security Group. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will lead security programs that protect our enterprise and cloud infrastructures while overseeing core security‑operations activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for enterprise and cloud environments.
• Develop and evolve processes and technologies that define Auctane’s global cybersecurity practices.
• Lead and coordinate security programs across engineering and operations teams.
• Manage day‑to‑day security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, autonomous teams to embed security into product development and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing enterprise and cloud infrastructures.
• Hands‑on experience managing security operations and incident response.
• Ability to influence and lead security initiatives across distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
• Fluency in English; location‑independent, based in Spain.
