Senior Accountant

About the role

INSUD PHARMA is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Family Office team in Madrid. The role involves managing a wide range of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, legal, and tax requirements while supporting the company’s dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings, including account reconciliations.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and post approved invoices, intra‑company entries, and asset transactions.
• Handle payroll posting, expense control, and cash‑outflow management.
• Prepare and consolidate information for internal and external audits.
• Generate financial and accounting reports tailored to business needs.
• Ensure all processes comply with the General Accounting Plan (PGC) and internal procedures.
• Develop and optimise accounting processes, procedures and tools to improve departmental efficiency.

Required profile

• Solid experience in financial and tax accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end closing, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and manage unforeseen situations.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
