Senior AI Solutions Engineer

About the role

The AI & Data Science Office at IQVIA brings together data science, advanced analytics and AI expertise across its international markets, working with Commercial Solutions teams to turn business needs into scalable solutions. It is looking for an experienced Senior AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, evaluate and deploy AI, machine learning, GenAI and agentic AI solutions that solve complex business and client challenges, from proof of concept through to deployment and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Build intelligent workflows using machine learning models, LLMs, enterprise data, APIs and agentic frameworks.
• Develop solutions covering RAG, semantic search, knowledge discovery, intelligent automation and decision support.
• Define evaluation approaches to assess quality, performance, business impact and risk.
• Partner with business, analytics and technology teams and turn successful proofs of concept into reusable, production-ready capabilities.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms, data sources and analytical products.
• Apply best practices in software engineering, MLOps, LLMOps, security, governance and documentation.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, standards and best practices, and evaluate emerging AI technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience designing and deploying AI, machine learning, advanced analytics or GenAI solutions in production.
• Strong software engineering and solution development skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering and agentic AI concepts.
• RAG, vector databases, semantic search and knowledge retrieval.
• Integrating AI with enterprise systems, APIs and cloud platforms.
• Preferred: familiarity with orchestration frameworks, AI agents, multi-agent systems, MLOps and LLMOps, and experience in healthcare, life sciences, commercial analytics or consulting.
