Senior Architect

About the role

Broadway Malyan is seeking a Senior Architect to lead large‑scale retail, shopping‑centre and mixed‑use projects from concept through site supervision. Based in Madrid, you will coordinate internal and external teams, manage client relationships and contribute to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process across Concept, Schematic Design, Detail Design and Site Supervision phases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality outputs.
• Prepare and deliver client‑facing presentations and support business acquisition efforts.
• Oversee project scheduling, workflow management and quality control.
• Maintain compliance with Spanish Building Regulations and commercial standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, preferably in retail, shopping centres or mixed‑use developments.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
