Senior Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Valencia. This full‑time hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from home part of the week while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams on both front‑end and back‑end initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance web applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code for both front‑end and back‑end components.
• Integrate databases, APIs, and new functionality enhancements into existing systems.
• Coordinate with product, design, and operations teams to ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards.
• Support testing, deployment, and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold robust software development standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end testing tools such as Cypress, Jasmine, and Karma.
• Proficiency in version control (Git), build automation (Gradle), and CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Docker, Azure, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Good command of English (B2‑C1) and ability to work in an agile environment.
