Senior Business Consultant – Mixed-Methods Researcher for EU Policy

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Business Consultant with strong mixed‑methods research expertise to join its European Policy Evidence team. You will work on high‑impact projects that support evidence‑based policymaking across multiple EU Directorates‑General.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to policy studies, evaluations, impact assessments, and foresight analyses for EU institutions.
• Design and implement mixed‑methods research frameworks, including interviews, focus groups, surveys, econometric and cost‑benefit analyses, and statistical modelling.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to ensure high‑quality, timely delivery.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable policy insights.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in EU policy consulting, academia, think‑tanks, or public‑policy evaluation.
• Strong background in research methodology with end‑to‑end quantitative focus (economics, statistics, data science, or related discipline).
• Solid understanding of EU institutions, policy processes, and funding mechanisms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with EU Better Regulation guidelines is advantageous.
