Senior Cost Manager - Construction

About the role

Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division Spain is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Cost Manager to join its team. The role sits within a friendly, professional and highly successful team, with the chance to progress quickly and take ownership of immediate projects. It covers pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relationships with clients and stakeholders, internally and externally.
• Handle pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties, including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations and final accounts.
• Estimate and plan costs, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Manage tendering and procurement: pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and contractual documents.

Required profile

• Relevant work experience as a QS or Cost Manager, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Experience across real estate construction projects.
• Ability to work independently, with excellent written and spoken English and Spanish, and strong report and bid writing skills.
