Senior Cyber Security Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Madrid’s Governance, Regulatory, and ISMS team as a Senior Specialist focused on cyber security regulatory compliance. You will ensure the company meets legal and regulatory obligations such as NIS2, CRA, and industry‑specific requirements, while supporting business units in interpreting and applying these rules.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cyber security regulations (e.g., NIS2, CRA) across the BASF Group.
• Assist business units in understanding and implementing current and upcoming cyber security regulations.
• Develop and implement cyber security strategies, policies, and response plans, including the Cybersecurity Reaction Plan.
• Identify and remediate gaps in existing implementations related to regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, authorities, and auditors.
• Monitor, report, and track compliance status and project progress to management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in cyber security regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations such as NIS2 and CRA.
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all hierarchical levels, including legal and operational units.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for interacting with authorities and auditors.
