Senior Editorial Manager - French Speaker

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a Senior Editorial Manager (French speaker) for its Secret Media Network, a digital media group covering cities such as London, Chicago, LA, NYC, Sydney, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. The role reports directly to the VP of Media and leads the creation of content for the network's expansion into new markets, managing a growing team of editors, writers, video producers and social media creatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the scope of responsibility for the French and Belgian markets and manage the team through 1-on-1 coaching, clear workflows and individual feedback.
• Craft, communicate and execute a creative vision for the entire Secret Media Network.
• Work with editors, staff writers and the video and social team to maintain high editorial standards aligned with the brand's identity and tone of voice.
• Analyze data for cities in the region using internal KPIs and use findings to inform future strategy.
• Identify editorial partnership opportunities and take a hands-on approach to key content-creation initiatives.
• Coordinate, assign and prioritize editorial work, collaborate with other Fever departments and develop audience-growth strategies.
• Build and optimize a content-driven conversion funnel that links storytelling, formats, distribution and audience insights to measurable conversions.

Required profile

• English proficiency and native-level French.
• +5 years of experience in a newsroom, content agency, creative agency or digital media property.
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
• Passion for journalism, especially at the local level, social media and digital marketing.
• Ability to inspire creative teams and customers, with strong presentation skills.

Required skills

• Media mapping and collaboration with external partners (advertising, media agencies, TV/animation companies).
• Digital fluency across social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X.
• Data-driven approach, solid writing skills and understanding of optimization technologies, AI-driven processes and workflow automation.
• Preferred: WordPress, Photoshop, Canva and other image/video editing tools; powerful media network contacts.
