Senior Engineer – Data Search (Remote, Europe)

About the role

Modash is building a world‑class data platform that powers creator discovery for thousands of companies. As a Senior Engineer on the Data Search team, you will own high‑impact projects from concept to production, shaping the future of the creator economy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise large‑scale data products that power search systems.
• Develop a creator search engine indexing 400M+ influencer profiles and billions of media assets.
• Generate multimodal embeddings (image, video, text, audio) at massive scale.
• Create advanced filtering, ranking, and relevance‑scoring pipelines.
• Deploy ML models for semantic and vector search, and experiment with LLMs and vector databases.
• Collaborate with Data Core, Data Insights, and product teams to deliver features.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production‑ready, high‑throughput data and search systems.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive projects end‑to‑end.
• Comfortable working in a remote‑first, fast‑moving environment.
