Senior Engineer, Digital Design Engineering

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Senior Digital Design Engineer in Cortes Valencianas. The role covers FPGA prototyping, architectural design and RTL design, working closely with verification, analog and implementation teams. It is an experienced position, first shift, days, with about 10% travel required.

Key responsibilities

• FPGA prototyping of designs and development of self-checking mechanisms for FPGA hardware and software codesign.
• Architectural design and specification of blocks, including IP block design and integration.
• Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design, with emphasis on AHB, AXI protocols and processor architecture on ARM cores.
• Design to meet timing, area, low-power, manufacturing test and timing targets.
• Define timing constraints and perform static timing analysis, and carry out timing, power and CDC analysis.
• Verify blocks using UVM and support mixed-signal integration and co-simulation.
• Work with the implementation team to convert RTL to silicon, and with architecture and design teams to define functionality protocols.
• Act as design hub interacting with stakeholders such as test, application, physical implementation and verification teams.
• Align digital system architecture and methodology with the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electronic Engineering) or equivalent.
• Experience architecting and specifying complex systems, especially SoCs with processors.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team, with strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Precise documentation, attention to detail, quick adoption of new technologies and self-motivation.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of FPGA development flow and FPGA modelling.
• Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design.
• UVM verification.
