Senior Logistics Manager

About the role

The Senior Logistics Manager will lead the end‑to‑end logistics function for Geely Auto España, ensuring vehicles, parts and related materials move efficiently from international origins through customs, storage, preparation and final distribution across the Spanish market. This role is responsible for shaping the local logistics strategy, managing external partners, controlling budgets and guaranteeing operational readiness for launches, campaigns and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a logistics strategy aligned with commercial objectives, European logistics plans and global supply‑chain standards.
• Oversee the complete flow of vehicles and materials, including international transport, port operations, customs clearance, compound management, storage, vehicle preparation and domestic distribution.
• Lead selection, negotiation and performance management of logistics suppliers such as shipping companies, port operators, customs brokers and transport providers.
• Set service requirements, KPIs and SLAs for partners and regularly evaluate their performance on quality, cost, delivery and compliance.
• Prepare, manage and control the annual logistics budget, monitoring costs across all logistics activities and identifying cost‑efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate vehicle inventory across ports, compounds and preparation centres to align with sales forecasts and avoid excess storage or capacity shortages.
