Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Analytics

About the role

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Senior Manager to support the Head of Europe Commercial in shaping strategy, analytics and operational priorities across its European business. Based in Madrid, you will act as a trusted partner, turning data into actionable insights for senior leadership and driving high‑impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Europe Commercial with strategic analyses and business insights that inform executive decision‑making across European markets.
• Develop executive presentations, leadership materials, dashboards and performance reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Analyze commercial, operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and improvement areas.
• Drive and coordinate high‑impact strategic initiatives and operational follow‑up across functions and countries.
• Support strategic planning processes, business reviews and leadership meetings.
• Act as a trusted sparring partner, creating structure, prioritisation and transparency in a fast‑paced international environment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Experience in a top‑tier management‑consulting environment solving complex business challenges.
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity and ability to partner with senior stakeholders across Europe and the USA.
• Comfort working in an entrepreneurial setting with high expectations and significant leadership exposure.
