Senior Procurement Manager – Spain & Italy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across Spain and Italy. Based in Madrid, you will work in a hybrid model within a fast‑evolving international organisation. The role combines strategic sourcing, business partnering and transformation leadership at a regional level.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional procurement strategy aligned with global category direction.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and commercial optimisation across key spend categories.
• Deliver measurable savings, operational efficiencies and ensure service continuity.
• Act as a trusted business partner for Finance, IT and regional leadership, driving spend visibility and category planning.
• Manage supplier performance, contract optimisation and risk mitigation for technology, facilities, travel, logistics, professional services and educational content.
• Lead procurement workstreams linked to integration and transformation projects, promoting best practices and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior or regional procurement roles within international or matrix organisations.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and category management.
• Demonstrated experience managing Technology/IT procurement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience supporting transformation, integration or change initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action.
• Fluent English.
