Senior Project Manager – Simulation & Control Rooms

About the role

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead low‑to‑moderate complexity projects within the Simulation and Control Rooms department of its Iberian operations. Based in Madrid with a hybrid work schedule, you will oversee portfolio activities, engage strategically with customers, and coordinate international teams to support the company’s long‑term commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small to medium‑sized project teams, including project controls personnel.
• Support business development through proposals, technical coordination, and customer discussions.
• Develop cost estimates and offers for plant support and modifications, assisting customer negotiations.
• Cultivate relationships with diverse internal and external partners in a matrix environment.
• Interpret contract requirements to ensure successful project execution.
• Utilise and maintain Westinghouse project‑management systems, providing accurate status reports.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business or a related technical discipline (advanced degree valuable).
• Formal Project Management qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing low‑complexity projects or serving as a technical lead with ambition to move into project management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, make decisions and develop partner relationships.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience in Simulation and Control Rooms or the nuclear sector.
