Senior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Gran Canaria)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing team on a hybrid basis. The role is based in Gran Canaria, and candidates must reside on the island or be willing to relocate before starting. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and CI/CD platforms that support our software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud and on‑premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage highly available Kubernetes environments.
• Implement observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Perform capacity planning, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity activities.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong Linux system administration background.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and influencing architectural decisions.
