Shift Production Leader - Tablet Manufacturing

About the role

GSK is looking for a Shift Production Leader (First Line Leader) for its tablet manufacturing site in Aranda de Duero. The FLL is a people manager with direct reports who leads and develops the team, drives performance and embeds GSK ways of working (including GPS) to deliver outstanding safety, quality, service and business results.

Key responsibilities

• Work with and develop the team about 70% of the time, through coaching, feedback and performance conversations, and model GSK leadership behaviours (Motivate, Focus, Care, Develop)
• Clarify roles, expectations and priorities, and ensure objectives and development plans are in place and reviewed regularly
• Manage day-to-day performance using visual management, KPIs and standard work to track safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics
• Lead problem solving at the Gemba, with the team identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure timely batch and work reviews and documentation quality, applying ALCOA+ principles and supporting data-integrity efforts
• Maintain standards such as Standard Work, SOPs and visual controls, and coordinate daily and weekly activities
• Partner with Quality, EHS, HR and Supply Chain to meet GSK policies, Life-Saving Rules and regulatory requirements
• Lead change initiatives and promote continuous improvement, encouraging ideas from the team
• Act as the main contact for upstream and downstream stakeholders and present area performance updates

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (science, engineering, business) or equivalent experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing or commercial environments, including exposure to GSK GPS or similar continuous-improvement methods
• Proven experience in a team-leading, supervisory or project leadership role with responsibility for people and performance

The annual gross base salary range for new hires is EUR 38,100 to EUR 63,500, depending on skills, experience and education; the role may also include an annual bonus and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive plan.
