Simulator Maintainer (Aerospace Engineer)

About the role

ATEXIS, a multinational consulting firm and part of Altexis, provides engineering support to clients in the aerospace, defence, naval, railway, energy and industrial sectors. It is looking for a Simulator Maintainer in Seville to ensure the optimal functionality, safety and technical readiness of flight simulators, supporting maintenance, repair and certification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and/or repair flight training devices, full flight simulators and other training devices in line with authorities' requirements and Flight Safety standards.
• Keep the simulator operationally ready for instructors and customers and check aeronautical discrepancies.
• Prepare and follow up the documentation and administrative tasks needed for certifications.
• Perform quality auditing assurance.
• Maintain training devices according to published procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Aeronautical engineer degree (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in the aeronautical sector, in maintenance management activities.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• Valid driver's licence and availability for three shifts (morning, afternoon, night).

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
• Windows 7 and Windows 10, Linux and electronic software.
• Accountability, strong communication, learning agility and proactivity.
