Site Quality Manager – Offshore Wind Projects

About the role

Sener is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead on‑site quality assurance and control for offshore wind fabrication projects in northern Spain. You will act as the main link between the fabrication site, the project quality organisation, and contractor quality teams, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all QA/QC activities with contractors, guaranteeing that fabrication work meets project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Monitor supplier quality systems, conduct site inspections (welding, NDT, coating, materials, general fabrication) and sign off QC records.
• Attend Hold and Witness Points, perform product conformity checks, and support Factory Acceptance Tests when required.
• Review and approve technical specifications, Quality Plans, ITPs, procedures, and ensure proper documentation traceability for Quality Dossiers.
• Allocate, supervise, and train site quality resources, maintaining communication between site and central quality teams.
• Plan and execute audits of suppliers and sub‑suppliers, manage NCRs and quality events through registration, follow‑up, and closure.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading on‑site QA/QC activities in fabrication environments.
• Strong ability to interface with contractors, subcontractors, and internal quality organisations.
• Familiarity with project documentation, standards, and codes relevant to offshore wind construction.
• Capability to supervise and train quality personnel and ensure consistent reporting.
