Software Engineer, AI, Full-stack

About the role

Flyboard is building production-ready AI voice agents that automate high-volume sales and operational workflows. As a Software Engineer for the Core Platform you will work directly with the founders and a small engineering team to design, build and scale the technology that powers these agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable platform features for the core voice-agent infrastructure.
• Build, maintain and optimise high-throughput APIs that integrate with leading AI model providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and Amazon.
• Improve system performance, latency and observability to ensure reliability under heavy load.
• Create internal tooling and automation to support Operations and Delivery teams.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with exposure to Azure and GCP.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code and contribute to frontend functionality in JavaScript when needed.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of relevant software engineering experience with a strong sense of ownership.
• Analytical, structured and motivated to grow in a fast-moving environment.
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Comfortable working with changing requirements and direct customer impact.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Backend engineering and API development.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and observability.
• AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (optional).
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Codex, Cursor or Claude Code.
