Software Engineer – Build Scalable Products

About the role

Evernote, now part of Bending Spoons, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its new Madrid office. You will work on products used by millions, taking ideas from concept to production while collaborating with a global, talent‑dense team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance systems that serve millions of users.
• Integrate cutting‑edge AI tools into the development workflow to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Choose and apply the appropriate technology stack for each challenge, ranging from monoliths to micro‑services, gRPC to REST, and Kubernetes to Docker.
• Continuously simplify architectures and pipelines, reducing unnecessary complexity.
• Help shape the culture and working practices of the new Madrid office as one of the first hires.
