Software Engineer - Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Infrastructure to join our partner’s remote team in Spain. You will build and scale an internal platform that enables engineering teams to deliver software quickly, reliably and with high quality. The role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, cloud technologies and platform architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate and continuously improve a scalable infrastructure platform supporting CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
• Build and maintain reliable artifact delivery systems to ensure consistent software releases.
• Optimize high‑volume CI infrastructure to increase engineering throughput while reducing operational overhead.
• Manage and enhance Kubernetes‑based environments, cloud resources and Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide platform capabilities, technical guidance and best practices.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks and improve developer experience.
• Contribute to technical road‑maps, architectural decisions and long‑term platform strategies.
• Document standards, share knowledge and promote continuous improvement across teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, operating and scaling production infrastructure platforms.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Practical experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience managing large‑scale CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript or Groovy.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools.
