Sourcing Manager - Near Patient Care, Sensors & Cartridges

About the role

Roche's Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) team is looking for a Sourcing Manager in Sant Cugat, Spain. The role executes end-to-end tactical procurement within the Near Patient Care (NPC), Sensors & Cartridges and External Manufacturing (EM) portfolios, turning standard requests into strategic, value-add opportunities. It sits in the Procurement Center of Excellence and reports to the Sourcing Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Execute global sourcing activities, standard processes (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs) and market benchmarking for on-market products and NPIs
• Analyze user requirements, aggregate global demand and escalate non-standard requests to Category Management
• Develop project plans, participate in project teams and proactively mitigate risks
• Set up template-based contracts (e.g. CDAs, SOWs), manage their lifecycle and renewals
• Use SAP and myBuy to streamline workflows, manage purchasing documentation and comply with global procurement policies
• Track operational targets and customer service metrics such as cycle times, and champion supplier diversity, sustainability and ethics
• Manage stakeholder expectations, present KPI and project updates to the Sourcing Lead and global stakeholders

Required profile

• University degree (Business or Life Sciences preferred); MBA or CIPS certification highly desirable
• 3-5+ years in sourcing, specializing in tactical sourcing (spot buying) and contract management, with a track record of cost reduction
• Procurement experience in medical devices, healthcare or high-tech manufacturing, ideally with exposure to NPC, sensors, cartridges or external manufacturers
• Advanced knowledge of AI applications and interest in digital transformation (Digital 2.0 / Industry 4.0)
• Business-level English; Spanish and German are a strong asset
