Spa Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Spa Director to lead all aspects of our spa facility in Palma de Mallorca. The role oversees daily operations, staff, guest experience and financial performance, ensuring the spa delivers high‑quality wellness services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall spa operations, including facilities, programs, hours, and staff scheduling.
• Develop and control budgets, monitor actual vs. projected sales, and ensure revenue targets are met.
• Select vendors, oversee retail product research, purchasing, display and inventory management.
• Create and execute sales and marketing strategies, including group packages, promotions, co‑op marketing and holiday events.
• Oversee payroll, controllable expenses such as amenities, linen, salon products and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all spa areas.
• Lead guest service excellence, empower staff to deliver outstanding hospitality and continuously improve service performance.
• Coordinate human‑resource functions including recruitment, training and performance management.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in spa or wellness operations, guest services, front‑desk, sales or marketing.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
