Space Systems IBP Management Specialist

About the role

An Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Management Specialist will join Airbus Defence and Space’s Space Systems Quality organization in Getafe. The role links multiple teams to translate strategic outcomes into financial and operational resource plans using data‑driven governance.

Key responsibilities

• Apply end‑to‑end IBP governance to convert business targets into accurate financial and operational requirements.
• Synchronise corporate planning processes (S&OP, financial, headcount) to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Maintain and evolve the digital toolset (CANOPY, OPTIM, QLIK) as the single source of truth for workload and workforce data.
• Monitor workload/workforce metrics, build live dashboards and analyse data to support strategic portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with business partners and represent the organisation in internal IBP forums.
• Drive continuous‑improvement road‑maps, Agile solutions and deliver IBP training across target groups.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Integrated Business Planning, S&OP or strategic resource management.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong adaptability, change‑management mindset and ability to coordinate extensive stakeholder networks.
• Experience with organisational transformation, joint‑venture environments or change‑management certifications is a plus.
