Static Stress Engineer – RFE Airframe Customer Services

About the role

Airbus is looking for a Static Stress Engineer to join the RFE Airframe Customer Services team in Getafe. You will provide rapid engineering solutions for in‑service aircraft repairs that are not covered by the Structural Repair Manual.

Key responsibilities

• Perform static stress analysis for repair proposals using validated methods.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, design principles, processes and manufacturing capabilities.
• Analyse damage reports to identify root causes and define repair solutions.
• Interpret non‑destructive testing (NDT) results and integrate findings into analyses.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver certification documents for repair acceptance.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural analysis engineering.
• Advanced level of English.
• High adaptability, proactive attitude and customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Static stress analysis of aerospace structures.
• Proficiency with analysis tools such as ISAMI and FEM.
• Knowledge of NDT interpretation and certification processes.
