About the role
The Store Director will lead Gucci’s Barcelona Paseo boutique, ensuring the store meets its sales targets while delivering the brand’s iconic service standards. This senior position combines operational oversight, visual merchandising, loss‑prevention, and talent development to uphold Gucci’s reputation for luxury excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Drive and maximise sales performance to consistently achieve budget objectives and monitor monthly profitability.
- Analyse store performance, report trends, and benchmark against competitors.
- Engage directly with top clients on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting mystery‑shop goals.
- Manage stock levels, coordinate with buying and logistics teams to optimise full‑price selling and support new product launches.
- Train associates on collection knowledge, brand pillars, and seasonal strategy.
- Set and monitor KPI targets, develop action plans with the District Manager, and lead local events to boost client attendance.
- Oversee talent management, including monthly coaching, annual reviews, and goal setting for all team members.
Required profile
- Proven senior retail leadership experience, preferably in luxury fashion.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with both internal teams and external clients.
- High integrity in operational, loss‑prevention, and HR management.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
