Strategy Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Strategy Consultant to join our team in Barcelona, working at the intersection of business and technology. The role supports strategic transformation initiatives for banking and insurance clients, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Monitor project portfolios, manage risks, dependencies and action plans.
• Prepare project reporting and documentation for diverse audiences.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Support technology transformation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Utilise project‑management and collaboration tools such as Rally, Jira, Confluence and Clarity.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, methodologies and ways of working.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project‑management practices.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in consulting, project management or technology‑transformation initiatives.
• Direct experience working with both clients and technical teams.
• Familiarity with the banking and insurance ecosystem, including its tools, governance models and delivery processes.
• Strong interest in technology and its impact on business operations.
• Proactive, adaptable and detail‑oriented with the ability to work autonomously.
• Professional working proficiency in English; native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
• Availability to work on‑site at client offices 1–2 days per week (hybrid model).
