Subgobernante/a – Hotel Occidental Ibiza

About the role

We are looking for a Subgobernante/a to join the Occidental Hotel in Ibiza, part of the Barceló Group. The role supports the hotel’s management team in daily operations, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily work, set objectives, schedules and allocate tasks.
• Supervise work methods, material usage and guest interactions.
• Control costs by managing human and material resources efficiently.
• Manage staff rosters and performance.
• Monitor and improve service quality, applying standardized procedures to meet guest expectations and economic targets.

Required profile

• Vocational training (Medium level) in Hospitality and Tourism or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel management position.
• High level of English; a second language is a plus.
• Knowledge of office software and cleaning products/techniques is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar office software.
• Understanding of professional cleaning techniques and products.
