Supply Chain & Quality Management Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Supply Chain and Quality Management professional to join the TASMP6 Supply Chain & Quality Services & MRO team in Seville. You will be responsible for ensuring supplier performance meets quality and delivery commitments while supporting certification and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support ADS certifications and approvals (EN9100, EN9110, EMAR, EASA).
• Manage contract execution and monitor supplier On‑Quality‑On‑Time (OQOT) performance.
• Coordinate milestones, product life‑cycle reviews and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
• Control supplier activities, implement recovery and improvement plans, and ensure delivery conformity.
• Contribute to sub‑commodity strategy, supplier selection, contract set‑up and development.
• Anticipate and mitigate supply risks, maintain a preventative surveillance plan.
• Monitor corrective action plans, reduce deviations and concessions.
• Verify compliance through audits, inspections and assessments (APQP, IPCA, CCP, Transfer of Work).
• Lead VRB and represent SCQ operations in forums such as SED, TEB, MFT.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or related discipline.
• Autonomous working style in supply chain change‑management topics.
• Experience in after‑sales environments (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of general supplier requirements and regulatory frameworks (EMAR, EASA P21/P145).
• Good auditing and assessment capabilities.
• Proficiency with procurement IT tools.
• Negotiable English language skills.
