Supply Officer – Air Power Business Line

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Supply Officer for its Air Power Business Line. The role bridges internal customers, suppliers and transversal departments to ensure smooth ordering, inventory control and delivery of critical components for the assembly line.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the interface with internal customers and coordinate stakeholders during the ordering phase.
• Interact with suppliers (remotely or on‑site) to implement corrective actions, settle disputes and manage non‑conformity containment (L1).
• Monitor inventory levels, analyse delays, prioritise urgencies and pilot short‑ and long‑term action plans to improve logistic flows.
• Ensure export‑control licences (non‑ECCD) are in place for hardware deliveries.
• Raise risks, follow‑up actions, report deviations and initiate containment actions in coordination with transversal functions.
• Perform quality inspections up to product delivery, attest product conformity and support investigations with the plant and suppliers.
• Participate in improvement projects and promote best‑practice exchanges while adhering to Airbus Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably with systems, equipment or aerostructures.
• Experience in logistics and familiarity with Airbus logistics flows.
• Background in new programmes or development projects.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
