Tax Specialist

About the role

Auctane is seeking a Tax Specialist to join its tax department. You will design and implement tax policies, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support tax planning and reporting across Spain and other EU countries.

Key responsibilities

• Daily submission of the Immediate Supply of Information (SII).
• Prepare tax obligations in Spain (IRPF, VAT) and other EU jurisdictions, focusing on VAT.
• Manage tax requirements from tax authorities.
• Assist in preparing the local transfer pricing report and supporting documentation for intra‑group transactions.
• Conduct risk assessments related to VAT, invoicing, and new business proposals.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or tax department.
• Experience with national and international taxation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of tax codes and accounting laws.
• Good level of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google apps.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, functions, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with Dynamic Navision or NetSuite (preferred).
