Tax Technology Analyst – Transfer Pricing

About the role

Novartis is seeking a Tax Technology Analyst to support global Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation and R&D tax credit processes. Based in Barcelona, you will work on automating and standardising TP workflows using AI‑enabled solutions and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare global TP documentation reports for all Novartis entities in line with OECD BEPS requirements.
• Contribute to the automation and standardisation of TP documentation workflows, leveraging AI, data analytics and tax technology tools.
• Support the implementation of the global R&D tax credit process, including calculations for multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist operational TP teams in monitoring local profitability and benchmarking.
• Coordinate audit defence for TP and R&D credit matters, preparing responses and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics.
• Post‑graduation experience, preferably 1.5+ years in a Big 4 firm, reputable legal firm, or in‑house TP management role.
• Strong understanding of OECD TP regulations before and after BEPS.
• Interest and capability in tax technology, data analytics and automation.
