Tech Lead

About the role

We are building a new GIS:Hub in Barcelona that combines Volkswagen's automotive data expertise with digital innovation. As a Tech Lead you will own the end‑to‑end definition and delivery of our 3rd‑party Data Monetisation platform, shaping customer journeys and turning business concepts into measurable products.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse cross‑functional business processes and identify operational challenges.
• Gather, refine and document requirements for data‑monetisation use cases, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to prioritise requirements and create user stories, use cases and functional specifications.
• Maintain architectural design records (ADRs) and drive implementation decisions.
• Continuously report on requirement status and propose technical and process improvements.
• Collaborate with the UX team to refine customer journeys within the platform.

Required profile

• Academic degree in information science, business informatics or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in requirements engineering or business analysis on complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Proven communication and leadership skills, including stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional project approaches.
