Technical Deployment Engineer

About the role

The Technical Deployment Engineer will own the full technical lifecycle of THEKER's robotic system deployments, from layout and integration design through certifications, safety compliance, and IP documentation. Working on‑site in Barcelona, you will turn complex robotic solutions into repeatable, structured deployments that enable rapid scaling across new sites and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and optimise layout and integration designs for industrial robotic installations.
• Navigate regulatory, certification and safety compliance requirements for each deployment.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including IP records and deployment guides.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations and the founding team to ensure seamless hand‑over from design to field installation.
• Support on‑site installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure deployments meet world‑class standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics or related).
• Solid understanding of physical system deployment in industrial environments, including layout constraints and installation sequences.
• Experience with technical documentation, certification/compliance processes, or project engineering.
• Ability to structure complex technical information clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent technical English.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate for a 100% on‑site role.
