Technical Project Coordinator – HMI Software Applications

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to support our HMI software applications team at Siemens Mobility. In this role you will act as the bridge between developers, testers and project managers, ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery. You will ensure schedules are met, challenges are identified early, and that the team stays aligned throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor development task status and ensure timely completion.
• Assist in creating and overseeing project schedules and milestones.
• Serve as the central point of contact for information flow within the team and with stakeholders.
• Identify potential bottlenecks early and work with the team to resolve risks and issues.
• Understand technical discussions and translate them for non‑technical audiences.
• Prepare, moderate and follow‑up on team meetings, documenting outcomes clearly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable field.
• Fundamental understanding of software development processes, architectures and technologies.
• Initial experience coordinating projects or sub‑projects, preferably in an agile environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
• You should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment and able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
