Técnico/a de Calidad – Industria Alimentaria (Torrejones)

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Technician to coordinate and supervise the implementation and maintenance of the quality and environmental management system for our food processing plant in Torrejones. The role ensures compliance with internal standards and external certifications while supporting continuous improvement of production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Quality and Environmental Management System, monitoring indicators, objectives, non‑conformities and corrective actions.
• Manage HACCP (APPCC) and PNCH inspection plans, including documentation control.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and food safety certifications such as IFS, BRC, MEDIO AMBIENTE, SAE, IBÉRICO, CONSORCIO, ETG.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits, and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare periodic reports on system performance, cost, yield, waste, packaging and propose improvements.
• Support the Quality Manager in communication with corporate, clients, suppliers and regulatory bodies.
• Validate product formulations, processes and industrial equipment in coordination with R&D and production areas.
• Respond to product incidents, queries and complaints from other sites and customers.
• Provide training on hygiene, quality and process standards to employees.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or Veterinary studies.
• Minimum two years of experience in food industry quality processes, preferably in the meat sector.
• Experience with implementation or maintenance of quality management systems (IFS, BRC).
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and food safety standards.
