Vulnerability Intelligence Senior Analyst

About the role

ING Hubs Spain is looking for a Vulnerability Intelligence Senior Analyst to join its Global Threat Management (GTM) team within the CISO domain. The team works across geographies and disciplines to anticipate emerging threats, investigate advanced attack scenarios and continuously improve detection and defensive posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools and methodologies to find weaknesses in systems, applications and networks.
• Monitor and collect vulnerability intelligence from security advisories, threat feeds, open-source intelligence and dark web forums.
• Analyse vulnerability data to assess potential impact on the organisation and prepare reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Work with Incident Response, IT and Development teams to prioritise and fix vulnerabilities, and give guidance on mitigation and hardening.
• Develop and maintain threat models and manage vulnerability intelligence tools, keeping them updated with the latest signatures and configurations.
• Keep up to date with vulnerability trends, attack vectors and security technologies, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, with relevant certifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in vulnerability management, threat intelligence or a related field.
• English at C1 level.
• Extra points for IT-related certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, OSWE or GWEB.

Required skills

• Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys or Rapid7.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems and security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain and NIST.
• Experience configuring cyber threat intelligence sharing tools.
