Warehouse Technician – Robotics Maintenance

About the role

The Warehouse Technician will ensure high standards of quality, safety, and productivity within a robotic‑enabled warehouse environment. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Autostore robots, related equipment, and supporting infrastructure while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Autostore robots, programmable controllers, conveyors, and peripheral devices.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble robotic components, documenting all actions in service records.
• Identify root causes of operational failures, troubleshoot automatic systems, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventories of sensors, cables, and other automation supplies, ensuring traceability.
• Manage external service providers for fire protection, electrical installations, forklifts, and other facilities, ensuring contract compliance.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures and test documentation for automated systems.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects, including ergonomic workstation design and prototype development.

Required profile

• Technical qualification (CFGS/FP) in Mechatronics, Robotics or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (B2 level); German is a plus.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a pragmatic and honest attitude.
